Sea Yarn

A new yarn in the store today! I am excited to have found this intriguing 70% superwash merino yarn blended with 30% SeaCell®. It’s a nice yarn with a little sheen and if you haven’t heard of SeaCell® yet, here’s what it is (quoted from the SeaCell® website):

…cellulose-based fiber in which seaweed is the active substance. The structure of SeaCell® facilitates the active exchange of substances between the fiber and the skin – nutrients such as calcium, magnesium and vitamin E are released by the natural body moisture when the fiber is worn.

Pretty cool eh? I thought so too!! I have a few colourways in my Etsy store right now and hope to have a few more listed soon too. Click the collage photo to see the yarns close-up.
