Gemilicious Worsted

In Dyeing on March 23, 2008 at 4:42 pm

We are really excited to be releasing new yarn weights in the store in the coming months and this is a little teaser of our new worsted line that will be released with an ultra-fabulous project that’s going to be gorgeous!  I can’t tell you what it will be yet but stay tuned – it will surely not disappoint!  We are in the development stages right now but I’m super excited to expand my offerings in handpainted yarns to include worsted weight.  We have decided to use Louet Gems Merino as our base yarn for all our worsted weight yarns.  Why?  Because it’s a high quality, well-respected yarn and for the projects we have in mind for this yarn, only the best will do!  It dyes up magnificently with a bit of a sheen to it that’s gorgeous!  Stay tuned for more details…they will unfold in the coming months with a few other surprises on the horizon!

In case you’re wondering – this semi-solid colourway is called “Rubies” which will be released with the project (along with a few other semi-solid colourways) once our project is complete and ready to go!  More to come!
