Patrick the Puppy

Another attempt at a horse and I end up with a puppy!! Too funny…that’s two tries now…maybe I should re-think doing a horse… 😐

I like that they both turned into something even if it wasn’t really what I intended originally. Lots of fun to make too!

He’s for sale at my Etsy shop and there’s more views of him there too. Click here.

Priscilla is also for sale at my Etsy shop.

Priscilla the Penguin

In Amigurumi on December 15, 2005 at 8:56 pm

Priscilla the PenguinHope everyone’s doing well. I haven’t posted for awhile but alas, been busy crocheting and doing some commissioned work. I did have time to slip in some more amigurumi-style crochet and here she is…Priscilla…the Penguin! She was originally going to be a horse but wow, that sure didn’t work out the way I wanted…LOL

Oh well, she turned out pretty cute anyways…

Monty the Canadian Moose

In Amigurumi on November 29, 2005 at 8:20 pm

Monty the Canadian MooseI just finished him! He’s by far my favourite and standing at only 7 inches to the top of his antlers, he’s just too adorable! The sweater is removable too but he’s way cuter wearing his truly Canadian red sweater! The leaf on the sweater is actually a leaf-shaped button…the closest I could find to a maple that signifies Canada too. It took me a couple of days to figure it all out but it was sure worth it.

He’s for sale in my Etsy shop too…click here. I have more photos to view at Etsy or you can click on this photo to see him larger.

UPDATE: And wouldn’t you know it? My Dad who’s a moose hunter sees my moose and wants him!! Guess I better get busy and make him one too!!

Precious the Glamour Bunny

In Amigurumi on November 28, 2005 at 11:21 am

Awwww, so cute! Another bunny and I tried to glam her up with a cool little wrap that can go around her ears, her paws or her tail.

She may be small standing at just over 7 inches tall but she certainly doesn’t take a little bit of time to make…between the crocheting, stuffing and putting on the accessories, it easily adds up to about 7-8 hours of work. Surprising really but true especially if you take extra care in making sure you don’t have any of your sewing showing when putting the pieces together.

As always, click on the photos to see larger!

She is for sale in my Etsy shop. Click here.

Pinky the Winter Bunny

In Amigurumi on November 24, 2005 at 1:15 pm

I decided to go ahead and try my hand at amigurumi-style crochet and what fun!! I am happiest with my bunny after doing two owls… she is so cute and only stands about 7 inches tall from her feet to the top of her ears. The hat is removable too!

Enjoy…she’s ready to go out in the snow with her hat and scarf!
